Place tiles so sums out-muscle incoming threats, fuse neighbors to level up, and preserve a relief lane for emergency merges. The board looks small, but sequencing determines everything. Combat Math, Clean Rules Each enemy shows a value. Your tile defeats it if your number meets or exceeds that value when combat resolves. Adjacent friendly tiles can fuse into a higher tier; fusing next to a multiplier boosts the result, so combine before you slide into a booster’s zone, not after. Decoy tiles stall a lane for one turn—drop them when your merge chain is one move short of ready. Board Crafting Build a spine—a central column of your highest values—then feed sides into it for regular fusions. Keep one lane intentionally sparse as your relief lane so you can shuffle and merge under pressure. When two strong enemies approach different lanes, defeat the one blocking your next fuse first; power growth beats a short-term save. Sequencing & Momentum Think two merges ahead. If you can fuse 4+4 into 8 this turn or 4+4 beside a ×2 next turn for 16, stall with a decoy and take the bigger swing. Multipliers amplify when neighbors merge in their aura; step into the zone only to finish a chain. If values clog, clear smallest threats with minimum force to regain placement space, then rebuild the spine. Events & Variants Some maps add barricades, split paths, or enemies that reduce nearby values. Counter by isolating your fuses one tile away and finishing in a single move. Daily trials with move caps reward precision; chase “no damage” medals by preferring set-ups over opportunistic hits. Accessibility & Comfort Large numerals with shape backers, color-independent multipliers, and a hint toggle that previews legal fuses keep play readable.
